April Wellness Week

We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming April Wellness Week. This week is dedicated to taking care of your physical and mental health through activities, seminars and more. This event is open to the community, and to make it easy to join us we are offering FREE day passes all week long. Non-members can stop in any day this week to request a pass and experience everything Mount Carmel Fitness Center has to offer. Participate in one or all of our daily themed events for an opportunity to prioritize your overall well-being, inside and out.

Enjoy Daily Themes and Activities:

Strength– Sunday, April 19

  • Muscles and Menopause with Heather: Understand how menopause affects muscle mass, metabolism and bone density. Learn why strength training is important during and after menopause | 12 pm

Movement – Monday, April 20

  • Built To Last: Lifting strategies for men over 40 with Mike | 12 pm and 6 pm

Nutrition – Tuesday, April 21

  • Sample smoothies at Hang On Coffee Co.
  • Make the Swap: Discuss healthier eating options with Julie and Kathleen | 12 pm

Mindfulness – Wednesday, April 22

  • Restorative Sound Bath with Melissa | 10 am and 10:45 am

Connection – Thursday, April 23

  • Gym Buddies: Stop by the Member Services desk and nominate someone who inspires you or makes your workout more enjoyable. Nominees may win a guest pass. One lucky set of gym buddies could win $100 in FitFunds.

Prevention – Friday, April 24

  • Prevent, Strengthen and Support: Pelvic Floor Essentials with physical therapist Alison| 10:30 am
